Having an opinion isn’t about stubbornness; it’s about having a foundation from which you can think, act, and grow.
Where is the industry headed? What is fundamentally broken? What should the tech/process look like? (If you don't know—guess!) Forming an opinion gives you a stance from which to challenge yourself and others meaningfully.
It's a critical muscle to build as we grow older and become leaders at work, in our family, and for our friends.
You'll naturally be given leadership responsibilities when you share your opinion. Most people don't have the courage. People are drawn to courage.
